Faster data cleansing

Our data cleansing tool, Data8Online, is known for being one of the fastest around, but there are some things you can do if you need a really quick turnaround on a job.

Firstly, you'll need to enable advanced options. When you are logged in, have a look down the left hand side of the page, just underneath the main menu, and you should see a "Display Advanced Options" box. Tick it if it isn't already.

Now, when you upload a file to be cleansed, you will see a set of tabs on the "Data Processing Options" step. Each of these tabs controls one step of the data cleansing process your data will be passed through.

By going through these tabs, you can disable any services you aren't interested in. For example, if you just want to TPS screen your data before calling it and aren't going to be purchasing goneaway and deceased flags, you can save the time that would normally be spent processing against these files by simply unticking the relevant boxes.

There are a lot of options here, so we've hidden them by default to make things easy, but feel free to dig into them if you need to save some time. Remember, we're always available on the phone if you need any guidance and we can help walk you through the process.
