Many companies are continuing to process business data against CTPS without considering an element of the data could be registered as a residential line, with a consumer registered as TPS. Data8 recently processed a file to illustrate the need to process business data against both services and produced the following statistics:-
When processing a file of around 2 million business records, the CTPS coverage was approximately 3%. However, when we then processed the data against TPS services also, the coverage increase by an additional 13%.
