Data Quality central to any CRM project

Many companies are turning to their CRM system to help them through the recession, or installing one for the first time. Central to any CRM project is an understanding of your data, and the implementation of a new CRM system is the ideal time to get it in shape.

Especially if you are consolidating data from various existing sources, you may need to standardise address formats and deduplicate/merge & purge records to help obtain your 360° view of your customers. It's also a great opportunity to identify and remove any dormant records that have moved or died, or identify new addresses to help re-activate previous customers.
