Just back from two weeks in Greece, the return trip was slightly fraught. The air traffic controllers decided to strike for 3 hours last Thursday and our airline cancelled our flight, the next flight they could offer was the following Sunday. Being the dedicated person I am, I wanted to be back in work on Friday.
There followed a scrabble for the notebook to look for alternative flights, all the sites I went to had a complex script to find a flight, filling in your details and then submitting a request. It was only after all the details, including card details, had been submitted that I was told no seats were available and I would have to look for an alternative. Having done this a few times in 30 plus degrees after two strong coffees I couldn’t work out if it was rage or caffeine causing my hands to shake.
The sites were not user friendly - at the very least they should have had a postcode lookup application then I wouldn’t have had to complete my address details over and over again.
