Our UK geocoding web service provides accurate locations for postcodes, towns, streets or other full or partial address details, and has just got even better! With the addition of more data from Ordnance Survey we can now provide locations to the nearest metre for postcodes in England, Wales and Scotland. We also continue to provide cover for Northern Ireland and Isle of Man with locations accurate to 100 metres.
If you're already using our geocoding service you don't need to change anything to take advantage of this new system; the results you get from the service will automatically start using this improved data.
This improved service forms part of our Find My Nearest service, providing you with a quick and powerful tool to direct customers to their nearest store, office or other location. This service can either be integrated directly into your line of business applications, or we have a fully functional application ready for you to copy and paste into your website.
