Data8 have carried out a data cleansing excercise for Claire House children’s hospice, a charitable organisation, providing respite, palliative and end of life care to over 230 children and their families, whose ages range from birth to 23 years.
Antony Allen, managing director data8, said, “We are pleased to be able to help this very worthy charity, we have just completed phase one of a project which was cleansing their database, Claire House will now be able to send out communications to their supporters confident that there will be no waste as all gone-aways and deceased will be removed from their data. Phase two will be to add profiling information to give Claire House a better insight into their database for marketing purposes”.
Data8 also spent time loading the data back into Claire House’s system so they could easily search for addresses. Allen continued, “We donated the time of our data specialists to ensure the data was smoothly integrated into their system”.
Pat Faragher, director of fundraising Claire House said, “We have enjoyed a fully professional service from data8 who have assisted us in making sure we communicate with the people who care about our cause. As well as raising money it is important that we save money and the work on the database will ensure there is no wastage in our direct mail communications”.
