Pareto's law of data cleansing

by Rishik 11. November 2010 15:12

If you've come across Pareto's Law before, you'll know that as a general rule, 80% of your sales (donations or subscriptions) will come from 20% of your customer (member or subscriber) base.

What impact will it have therefore if say, 10% of your customer database moves without informing you? That's potentially up to 50% of your revenue at risk.

The answer is to act before it's too late. Regular data cleansing using Data8's goneaway screening and obtaining mover addresses will ensure you keep as many of those 20% of customers as possible. Combine this with Data8's deceased screening and other data cleansing services and you will always have an up to date, valuable customer database.
