Well it is all down to magic, he uses PAF (Pixies and Fairydust). During the year all the elves are sent out to check who lives where and what is their correct address. This is communicated back to headquarters in secret by using an encryption called ‘postcode’ a simple method of grouping all the delivery addresses together.
Once the ‘postcode’ has been decoded it is turned into PAF, this is sprinkled all over the packages so they all have correct addresses and they are ready for the sleigh. When the sleigh is loaded the elves will know what to load first as those will be the addresses that are furthest away.
While the elves are out there checking addresses, they also see who is being good or bad during the year, anyone who has been bad goes on the Mischievous Persons Selection (MPS) none of these will receive any presents.
