CNM the Wakefield based data cleansing company has been acquired by data8.

CNM is a company that specialises in data cleansing, it was started in 1988 by Phil Mitchell and Kevin Vaughan.

Data8 was established in 2005 by Antony Allen and Richard Hartland to simplify data cleansing and they have expanded their cloud based services to include verification and validation applications.

Antony Allen, managing director data8, said, “We have been looking for opportunities to expand our client base, when we were approached by CNM we recognised there was a degree of synergy between the two companies with little crossover of clients. This allows data8 to expand its client base and also gives the opportunity to cross sell the services that data8 specialises in. CNM have obtained a deserved reputation within the industry for their quality of service and we at data8 are able to offer the clients a range of additional services such as our cloud based verification and validation applications.”

Kevin Vaughan, managing director CNM, commented, “My fellow director Phil and I, after over 20 years of building up CNM, wish to explore other opportunities, our concern has always been how to do this in a manner that will suit our clients. I am sure our clients will benefit from the service and expertise that data8 offer.”

Allen, continued, “I wish Phil and Kevin all the best in the future, and I can assure all the clients they will have the very best of service from data8, gratifyingly all clients to date have decided to use data8”.
