Looking at the recent usage statistics, Data8 can report that many of our online retail clients have had a record number of lookups this December. Data8’s postcode lookup service is used to populate the full address from a house number and postcode, allowing simple capture of the correct address, with less clicks for the end user.
The first cold snap at the beginning of December meant that online Christmas sales increased more than expected. We saw a sharp increase in the use of our postcode lookup webservice. In addition, clients who use Data8’s email and mobile validation services have been able to ensure that email and SMS order updates are being sent to the right email account and mobile number.
Data8’s services help to reduce cart abandonment with the added bonus of ensuring correct and clean data is stored in the CRM. The postal webservice uses the latest updates from the Royal Mail PAF database and allows for seemless integration into all types of cart software.
