Over for another year, we managed to meet and speak to many potential and existing clients. They ranged from major plcs to a variety of smaller companies and the usual students who wanted an instant education on data cleansing.
The services that visitors were most interested in were Postcode Lookup and our lead validation services, however we did have a number of people wanting to discuss data cleansing, some with substantial databases.
Not living in the big city I wasn’t over familiar with the tubes, one of our party made a valiant effort to create space for me to get on board the train, think Chabal going into a ruck. I managed to get my body into the train however my suit-bag was on the outside. Discretion was the better part of valour so I decided to alight.
We had free bottles of water for visitors to the stand, so people could ‘rehydr8’, they went down well as the day progressed, and were jealously guarded by certain members of our team.
