What is an MSP?

There are too many TLAs (three letter acronyms), it is becoming very confusing, take for example MSP, depending on context it could be -

• Member of the Scottish Parliament
• Manic Street Preachers
• Mechanically Separated Poultry
• Marketing Services Provider

The Marketing Service Provider is now becoming a common term but what does it mean, you can’t get an answer from Wikipedia as the words are subject to a copyright infringement. So I thought I would have a go -

‘A company that offers marketers a range of specialist technologies that help them improve the targeting and understanding of their potential markets through ensuring that any data that is captured and stored is accurate and can be trusted’
