Make sure you are adjusting your marketing spend and tactics to take into account the growth in smart phone usage, over a quarter of UK adults now use their phones for internet access, this is up from 22% last year. The time spent on social networking sites is increasing, the advertsing spend on the internet is marginally ahead of television. See the full report from OFCOM.
On a personal note why aren’t companies that offer free web access using Postcode Lookup. It is infuriating entering your address details into a smart phone, as part of the registration process, and the chances of getting it wrong are very high, meaning the company will have poor data quality.
