Using Data8Online to cleanse your data is simple, and requires no technical knowledge. The process of cleansing your data with us is described below.

Data8Online is an entirely online, automated system. You can access Data8Online 24 hours a day, giving you instant access to a comprehensive range of data cleansing and profiling services whenever you need it.

To start cleansing your data, you must first upload it to us.

We can accept data in most file formats, including CSV, Excel, Access and various text formats.

Once you have uploaded your data, we will automatically detect where your customer names, addresses, telephone numbers and various other information can be found in your file. Once you have confirmed that we have detected this correctly, we will start processing your file.

When we have finished processing your file, we will e-mail you a free, comprehensive Data Quality Audit.

This report details your existing data quality level, and indicates how it can be improved. For example, it will indicate how many addresses can be improved, how many goneaways, deceased or duplicates have been detected and how many additional telephone numbers we can supply.

After you have reviewed the Data Quality Audit, you can choose what cleansed data you want to download.

You can pick and choose your own combination of which data cleansing services to buy for each job you process. You may choose to buy all the available cleansed data, or you may choose to buy only certain services such as telephone number appending or de-duplication.
