Data8 at IDMF 2007
Submitted: 20 April 2007
Data8, the UK's premier data solutions provider, received a record number of visitors to its stand during the International Direct Marketing Fair that took place in Earl's Court in May 2007.
In particular, end users from both the public sector and blue-chip companies alike approached Data8 for data cleansing and enhancement solutions. Antony Allen, Data8's Managing Director, states: "We were overwhelmed with the response. It's a great pat on the back to know that our latest products are not only relevant but very much in demand in the industry."
Data8 was showcasing a prototype version of its latest service, an online profiling engine. Companies can accurately locate their customers, capture their current telephone numbers, update their databases with the latest gone away and deceased information and identify any duplicate records. But what's more, with Data8's powerful online profiling tool, clients can now identify buying habits, lifestyle trends and financial status. Allen argues: "This is every marketing manager's dream. Targeting your campaigns to such an extent will inevitably give you a significant competitive advantage; and combined with data8online, our online data cleansing service, the overall campaign effectiveness will increase and result in a higher ROI. All the information you need to know about your customers and prospects at your fingertips!"
Finally, a number of international opportunities were presented during the show, especially with data suppliers from EU countries who are looking for a robust technology for data cleansing and enhancement. Antony Allen concludes: "We look forward to progressing this business and expanding our online offering in the UK and Europe".
