Data8 has a range of services that can be used to help you to offer telephone services
using BT OSIS telephone data. These services can be integrated into your websites
or business processes so that yhey can be easily used whilst you are in contact
with your customer.
The telephone number capture service searches BT OSIS using a full name and address
and will only return a one matching record. Using this service you can quickly add
telephone numbers to records in your CRM system or customer database that do not
already have them, or add it to your customer data entry form to speed up data entry.
Our Telephone Directory service acts more like a directory and allows less precise
queries listing up to 200 matches for a search for a surname in a town. This allows
you to browse the results to manually find the record you are looking for.
We also have a variety of validation services
that can validate telephone numbers to ensure that numbers entered are accurate
and not mistyped or deliberately unavailable.
All of these validation services are delivered via Web Services so that you can
integrate the validation techniques into your technology and processes.
