OptOutLive is a new, unique
and innovative solution created and administered by Data8. OptOutLive allows direct
marketers to give their prospects a genuinely straight-forward way to unsubscribe
from further marketing messages. This has several benefits:

when all they do is bin them.

How it works
Sustainable Data works in tandem with OptOutLive to produce a genuinely easy-to-use
unsubscribe option for your prospects. The basic process is:
- You submit your file to Sustainable Data.
- You download the OptOutLiveIDs - each record gets a unique number.
- You publish the OptOutLiveID on your marketing material - for example you print
the unique number in a footer on a page with the marketing message.
- If a prospect wants to unsubscribe then they simply enter their OptOutLiveID into
the OptOutLive website.
- The next time you cleanse your data through Sustainable Data your unsubscribes will
be automatically removed

OptOutLive can also be used by consumers to opt out of any marketing material from
any company - even if they do not have an OptOutLive ID. The Direct Marketer can
then use Sustainable Data to ensure that all of the unsubscribe requests are respected.
This offers a significant benefit to Marketers as the alternative is just to register
with the MPS and thereby removing them from all prospect marketing by mail.
