Richard helped start Data8 alongside Antony in 2005. He is responsible for delivering Data8’s data quality services as cloud applications that deliver market leading dependability and performance. Richard is responsible for the performance, integrity and security of the Data8 database. He guides the overall direction, planning and continual improvement of the database as well as developing data quality ‘best practices’.
He has amassed over 20 years of experience in the UK Data industry and has an unrivalled knowledge of how to extract the best from data cleansing. Before joining Data8 he held senior management roles in various companies within the IT sector. He obtained a Computer Science degree from The University of Manchester. Richard has been a member of the PAF Advisory Board giving independent advice to the Address Management Unit of Royal Mail on behalf of PAF users.
Hobbies: Richard enjoys coaching a junior football team, drinking big Australian wines, playing tennis and for some reason data cleansing.
