Immediate Media is a special interest content and platform company who operate some of the best-loved brands in the UK. They engage over 19 million consumers each month with content and new products and services across a range of digital platforms and magazines.
Immediate Media were looking to implement a Bank Account Validation service and were also looking to improve the quality of their existing address lookup service, ideally from one provider at a more affordable cost. They wanted to improve the accuracy to avoid typos and inaccurate data being stored in their back end systems which would create problems further down the line for both their customers and their communications.
Immediate Media had migrated to a new subscription fulfilment bureau who had a different process for managing incorrect bank details. With no validation on the website, orders were getting ‘stuck’ in their system, causing delays to the customer’s expected subscription start date.

Any incorrect details would be fixed at the moment of input in order to prevent future problems.
Bank Validation was installed which captures accurate bank details, validates all major debit and credit cards and checks IBAN numbers.
