Finds the location of a postcode. A full postcode must be supplied. If only a partial postcode or other parts of the address are available, please use the Geocode method.

By default, only the Easting, Northing, GridReference, Longitude and Latitude properties of the returned Position objects are populated.

In order to retrieve the data for the CountyCode, County, DistrictCode, District, WardCode and Ward properties, include an Option with the Name GetAdminArea and the Value True.

In order to retrieve the data for the Country property, include an Option with the Name GetCountry and the Value True. The value of the returned Country property will be one of the following values:

  • England
  • Scotland
  • Wales
  • NorthernIreland
  • ChannelIslands
  • IsleOfMan
  • NotSupplied
