About the Role 

Data8 Ltd are a fast growing, market leading Data Quality Solutions company based near Chester who provide a range of services to help our clients understand, enhance, and maximise the value of their data. To sustain our excellent growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Technology (MarTech) Manager.

The role is to own and optimise our marketing technology stack, enabling scalable growth for our fast-paced SaaS business. You will be the key owner of HubSpot as our central platform for all campaigns, lead management, and reporting, while ensuring seamless integration with other tools like Microsoft Dynamics, Cognism, Leadinfo, WordPress, SEMrush, and Google Analytics. This role is ideal for a technically skilled marketing operations leader who thrives at the intersection of data, automation, and digital strategy. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

MarTech Strategy & Ownership 
  • Define and execute a MarTech roadmap that supports pipeline growth, demand generation, and customer lifecycle marketing. 
  • Serve as the HubSpot owner for all marketing campaigns, lead workflows, and reporting. 
  • Ensure integrations with Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Cognism, Leadinfo, and other tools are optimised for seamless lead and data flow. 
  • Evaluate emerging SaaS marketing technologies to keep our stack cutting-edge. 
Lead Generation & Enrichment 
  • Maximise the value of Cognism and Leadinfo: 
  • Use Cognism for targeted lead acquisition, contact enrichment, and compliance-friendly prospecting. 
  • Leverage Leadinfo to identify anonymous website visitors and provide actionable data for HubSpot workflows. 
  • Build automated processes in HubSpot to sync enriched Leadinfo data for lead scoring, segmentation, and outreach. 
  • Ensure Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) are automatically routed to the right sales reps with all relevant data captured in HubSpot. 
Marketing Automation & Campaigns 
  • Design and optimise all automated campaigns in HubSpot, including: 
  • Lead nurturing and conversion 
  • Free-to-paid trial activation 
  • Customer retention and upsell sequences 
  • Implement behaviour-driven workflows using HubSpot, product usage data, and Leadinfo insights. 
  • Maintain alignment with Microsoft Dynamics for accurate attribution and reporting. 

 

Data Management & Reporting 
  • Maintain clean, reliable data in HubSpot and across connected platforms, with clear governance practices. 
  • Build real-time dashboards in HubSpot tracking: 
  • MQL and SQL growth 
  • Lead source performance (Cognism, Leadinfo, inbound, etc.) 
  • Use Google Analytics and HubSpot to analyse web performance and marketing ROI. 

 

Website, SEO & Conversion Optimisation 
  • Manage and improve our WordPress website as a lead generation engine. 
  • Use SEMrush to track keywords, monitor competitors, and drive SEO improvements. 
  • Connect website behaviour to HubSpot, Leadinfo, and Google Analytics for full-funnel visibility. 

 

Collaboration & Enablement 
  • Partner with all company departments to align systems and workflows. 
  • Train marketing and sales teams to use HubSpot, Leadinfo, Cognism, and Dynamics effectively. 
  • Act as the technical liaison to ensure MarTech supports business goals. 

 

Compliance & Security 
  • Ensure all tools comply with GDPR and other privacy laws. 
  • Maintain strict access control and platform security protocols. 

Required Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Information Systems, Business, or related field. 
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing technology, operations, or growth in a B2B SaaS environment. 
  • Hands-on expertise with: 
  • HubSpot Marketing & Sales Hub (primary platform for all campaigns) 
  • Microsoft Dynamics CRM 
  • Cognism, Leadinfo, or similar platforms 
  • Google Analytics, WordPress, SEMrush 
  • Proven ability to optimise the marketing funnel using automation and data-driven strategies. 
  • Knowledge of B2B SaaS growth metrics such as MQL → SQL conversion. 
  • Experience with API integrations and data syncing between platforms. 
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. 

Preferred Skills 

  • HubSpot or Microsoft Dynamics certifications. 
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, or SQL for light troubleshooting. 
  • Experience in product-led growth (PLG) environments. 

Key Metrics for Success 

  • Growth in MQLs and SQL conversion rates driven by HubSpot workflows and enriched lead data. 
  • Improved lead routing speed and accuracy across HubSpot and Dynamics. 
  • Growth in organic web traffic and conversion rates tracked via SEMrush and HubSpot analytics. 
  • Data accuracy and reporting reliability across all platforms.

The role is to exceed sales target through a combination of sales initiatives including generating and qualifying leads, sales prospect calling, sourcing and developing client referrals. You will be supported by a range of proactive marketing initiatives that drive a significant number of incoming sales leads to Data8 and an excellent Technical Team who deliver pre and post-sales support as required.

Ideally, you will have a sales background in Data, CRM or IT, with a proven track record of hitting target.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Meet all agreed financial targets
  • Achieve all non-financial metrics that are set, including but not limited to number of outbound calls, client visits, quotes, proposals and self-source leads
  • Carry out sales prospect calls to generate new leads
  • Self-source appropriate leads to contact through your own research

We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Developer to join our expanding technical team. You’ll be involved in building API integrations, developer tools, and automation systems, as well as providing technical support to our customers via email and phone. 

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both coding and problem-solving, with an interest in how systems connect and communicate. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Develop and maintain integrations between Data8’s APIs and third-party systems. 
  • Build lightweight connectors, browser extensions, and SDKs in C# and JavaScript/TypeScript. 
  • Provide technical support for our APIs — managing support tickets, troubleshooting issues, and helping customers via email and phone. 
  • Maintain technical documentation and example projects for developers. 
  • Contribute to internal automation tools and help improve system efficiency. 
  • Collaborate with senior developers to explore new technologies and integration opportunities. 

 

About You

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). 
  • Solid understanding of programming fundamentals and web technologies. 
  • Experience or familiarity with: 
  • C# / .NET or JavaScript / TypeScript 
  • REST APIs, JSON, and HTTP 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Confident and professional when supporting customers over the phone and via email.

As a Client Success Manager, you’ll manage a portfolio of customers, acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partner. You’ll help clients drive adoption, optimise usage, and achieve measurable business outcomes through effective onboarding, engagement, and support.

This role combines relationship management, business acumen, and a proactive approach to customer success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients throughout their lifecycle – from onboarding through to renewal.
  • Guide clients through implementation, user adoption, and ongoing optimisation of our solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key client stakeholders.
  • Monitor customer health and engagement metrics to identify risks or opportunities for growth.

  • Strong understanding of SaaS business models, customer lifecycles, and retention metrics
  • Excellent communication, relationship management, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple client relationships and priorities simultaneously.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret and act on client usage data and success metrics.
Desired: 
  • Experience with CRM or customer success tools
  • Familiarity with onboarding, change management, or implementation processes.
  • Experience working in a SaaS environment.
