About the Role
This is a hands-on, high-impact role focused on driving measurable organic growth across both search engines and AI discovery platforms.
You will lead initiatives across:
- SEO (Search Engine Optimisation)
- AEO (Answer Engine Optimisation)
- GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation)
You’ll identify growth opportunities, implement scalable optimisation frameworks, and play a key role in shaping how Data8 is found and represented in an AI-first search landscape.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Growth
- Develop and execute SEO, AEO, and GEO strategies aligned with commercial objectives
- Identify high-impact opportunities across keywords, entities, and search intent
- Build scalable organic growth roadmaps tied to pipeline and revenue outcomes
Search & Content Optimisation
- Conduct in-depth keyword research, search intent analysis, and gap analysis
- Optimise and refresh content to improve rankings, engagement, and AI visibility
- Design content to be structured, authoritative, and AI-consumable Technical & AI Search Visibility
- Perform technical SEO, AEO, and GEO audits across:
- On-page optimisation
- Structured data & schema
- Site architecture & internal linking
- Improve entity recognition and AI discoverability across emerging platforms
Authority & Off-site Growth
- Support backlink acquisition and digital PR strategies
- Increase brand presence in trusted sources used by AI models
Performance & Insights
- Monitor performance across SEO and AI discovery
- Provide clear, commercially relevant reporting and insights
- Continuously test, iterate, and optimise for measurable impact
Innovation
- Stay ahead of developments in:
- AI-powered search
- Generative search experiences

Required Qualifications
Core Experience
- Proven track record in SEO and organic growth

About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Development Manager to help organise, lead and strengthen a small development team.
This is not a corporate middle-management role. It is a practical leadership position for someone who enjoys improving delivery, bringing structure, supporting developers and still being involved technically where needed.
You will work closely with two highly experienced board directors who remain technically involved and supportive but want someone to take ownership of the day-to-day coordination, planning and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading and coordinating a small team of software developers
- Managing priorities, workload planning and delivery schedules
- Improving team processes, communication and accountability
- Running stand-ups, sprint planning and delivery reviews where useful
- Supporting and mentoring developers
- Remaining hands-on technically when needed
- Overseeing DevOps, deployments and release processes
- Working directly with directors to align development with business priorities
- Helping shape a scalable, positive engineering culture
Required Experience
- Experience leading or mentoring software developers
- Strong software development background
- Comfortable managing workflow and priorities
- Experience with Agile / Scrum / practical delivery methods

Salesforce Developer
We’re looking for a Salesforce Developer with a few years’ experience who is ready to take the next step in their career.
This role would suit someone who already has solid hands-on Salesforce development experience and wants more ownership, more technical challenge, and the chance to help shape how Salesforce solutions are built, improved and delivered.
You’ll be working across Salesforce development, integrations, managed packages and customer-focused solutions, helping us build high-quality, reliable products that solve real business problems.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll be involved in:
- Building and maintaining Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce and platform automation
- Working with Salesforce configuration, custom objects, flows, validation rules, permissions and page layouts
- Developing and supporting integrations between Salesforce and external services
- Helping improve and modernise existing Salesforce packages and components
- Investigating issues, debugging problems and improving performance
- Working with product, support and technical teams to understand requirements and deliver practical solutions
- Contributing to releases, testing, documentation and deployment processes

What we’re looking for
