Mailing Preference Service
MPS is also known as Mailing Preference Service is a data file of consumers who have registered their request not to receive unsolicited advertising through the post. The Mailing Preference Service is a free service set up by the Direct Mail Industry to enable consumers to have their names and home addresses in the UK removed from lists used by the industry.
It is actively supported by the Royal Mail and all directly involved trade associations and the ICO
When you use our data cleansing system, we will also run the file against the MPS data online and strip out any customers who are on this list. This all helps ensure that you are screening out any unwanted mailings and saves marketing money as well.
The MPS service file is updated on a monthly basis.
