Business Goneaway

Identifies business records that match to business goneaway sources.

Description

Data8's Business Goneaway service checks the company name and address of the records provided against a number of third party suppression sources.

Records that are found on a suppression source are either flagged or suppressed.

This service is costed on a per hit basis.

This service requires the following data to be available before it can be used:

Processes the data provided against the Companies House file.

Processes the data provided against the BCF.

Processes the data provided against the BSF file.

Suppression Type

Suppression Type

Set this to configure what should happen when a match is made by this service:

  • Append Flags adds an extra column to your output file which is populated when a match is made and blank otherwise.
  • Suppress Records removes any matching records from your output file.

Output Columns

This service adds the following columns to your output data.

Business Goneaway Flag

Business Goneaway Flag

Indicates if the business has been matched to the suppression sources with "GA" and is blank if not.
Business Goneaway Type

Business Goneaway Type

If the business has been marked as a goneaway, this field displays one of the following reasons:

  • "OB" = Out of business
  • "RL" = Relocated,
  • "RN" = Renamed
  • "SR" = Soho relocated
  • "UM" = Unmarketable
  • "IM" = Individual moved,
  • "ID" = Individual deceased
