MPS

Identifies records that match to the MPS source file.

Description

Data8's MPS service checks the name and address of the records provided against the Mailing Preference Service Register.

Records that are found on the register are either flagged or suppressed.

This service is costed on a per lookup basis.

This service requires the following data to be available before it can be used:

The following options can be configured for this service at the upload stage. These are only available if Advanced Options are enabled on your account.

Check MPS	Check MPS Processes the data against the Mailing Preference Service Register. This register consists of people who have opted out of unsolicited, personally addressed advertising mail.
Check Baby MPS	Check Baby MPS Processes the data against the Baby Mailing Preference Service Register. This register consists of people who have opted out of baby related mailings.

Suppression Type	Suppression Type Set this to configure what should happen when a match is made by this service: Append Flags adds an extra column to your output file which is populated when a match is made and blank otherwise. Suppress Records removes any matching records from your output file.

Output Columns

This service adds the following columns to your output data.

MPS Flag	MPS Flag Flagging records will include an additional column in the cleansed output indicating whether each record matches this service. "MPS" if matched, blank if not. Suppressing hits will remove any matching records from the output.
