Tidy the supplied name, standardising casing and punctuation.

The gender is derived from the name where possible, and standard formal and informal salutations are generated.

This service is costed on a per record basis.

Download Options

The following options can be configured for this service at the download stage.

Separated Name	Separated Name Splits a combined name into separate title, forename, middle name, surname and suffix fields to allow you to search your customer database more easily. This option is only displayed if Advanced Options are enabled on your account.
Gender	Gender Adds a column to your data indicating if the person is believed to be male or female based on their name. This option is only displayed if Advanced Options are enabled on your account.
Salutation	Salutation Appends the salutation that should be used when addressing the customer in a letter. This option is only displayed if Advanced Options are enabled on your account.
Name Data Level	Name Data Level Indicates the amount of name information available for the customer. This option is only displayed if Advanced Options are enabled on your account.

Output Columns

This service adds the following columns to your output data.

Title	Title Title extracted from your name field or assumed where possible.
Forename	Forename Forename extracted from your name field.
MiddleName	MiddleName Middle name extracted from your name field.
Surname	Surname Surname extracted from your name field.
Suffix	Suffix Suffix extracted from your name field.
Gender	Gender Gender derived from the forename, blank if forename is ambiguous e.g. Alex.
Formal Salutation	Formal Salutation Appropriate text to use for salutation in a formal letter.
Informal Salutation	Informal Salutation Appropriate text to use for salutation in an informal letter.
Name Data Level	Name Data Level Amount of name information available.
