TPS and CTPS

Identifies people and businesses who match to the TPS or CTPS sources.

Description

Data8's TPS and CTPS services check the telephone number of the records provided against the Telephone Preference Service Register and the Corporate Telephone Preference Service Register respectively.

Data that is found on the register is either suppressed or the related record is flagged.

If used in conjunction with the telephone number append service, the appended numbers can be checked against the TPS and CTPS as well.

This service is costed on a per lookup basis.

Upload Options

The following options can be configured for this service at the upload stage. These are only available if Advanced Options are enabled on your account.

TPS Existing Numbers	TPS Existing Numbers Checks all telephone numbers on the original data against the TPS and CTPS Register.
TPS OSIS Numbers	TPS OSIS Numbers Checks all telephone numbers that have been appended by the OSIS service against the TPS and CTPS Register.
TPS Business Universe Numbers	TPS Business Universe Numbers Checks all telephone numbers that have been appended by the Business Universe service against the TPS and CTPS Register.

Checks all telephone numbers that have been appended by the OSIS service against the TPS and CTPS Register.

Checks all telephone numbers that have been appended by the Business Universe service against the TPS and CTPS Register.

Download Options

The following options can be configured for this service at the download stage.

Suppression Type	Suppression Type Set this to configure what should happen when a match is made by this service: Append Flags adds an extra column to your output file which is populated when a match is made and blank otherwise. Suppress Records removes any matching records from your output file.
Screen Against	Screen Against Indicates whether the service should match to the TPS Register, the CTPS Register or both the TPS and CTPS Register. If appending telephone numbers, this option will be duplicated for Business Universe and OSIS.

Indicates whether the service should match to the TPS Register, the CTPS Register or both the TPS and CTPS Register.

If appending telephone numbers, this option will be duplicated for Business Universe and OSIS.

Output Columns

This service adds the following columns to your output data.

TPS Flag 1	TPS Flag 1 Only output if telephone number append is included in the job. A flag indicating whether or not the first number appended was matched on the TPS or CTPS. "TPS" indicates a number that has been found on the TPS. "CTPS" indicates a number that has been found on the CTPS.
TPS Flag 2	TPS Flag 2 Only output if telephone number append is included in the job. A flag indicating whether or not the second number appended was matched on the TPS or CTPS. "TPS" indicates a number that has been found on the TPS. "CTPS" indicates a number that has been found on the CTPS.
TPS Flag 3	TPS Flag 3 Only output if telephone number append is included in the job. A flag indicating whether or not the third number appended was matched on the TPS or CTPS. "TPS" indicates a number that has been found on the TPS. "CTPS" indicates a number that has been found on the CTPS.
TPS Flag (Existing)	TPS Flag (Existing) A flag indicating whether or not the existing telephone number was matched on the TPS or CTPS. "TPS" indicates a number that has been found on the TPS. "CTPS" indicates a number that has been found on the CTPS. If multiple telephone numbers are on the input data then a "TPS Flag (Existing)" field will be populated for each telephone number.
